Volunteers of the Year

Matt Long

Meet our residential wushu master. He helped out by showing off his wicked skills during our Chinese New Year interview on Wheeler in the Morning. As well, he has helped make posters to advertise our events, put up decorations, and organize icebreakers during activities. Pretty diverse skill set, huh?

Shenyun Wang

This talented woman took it upon herself to single-handedly organize, purchase, and assemble the decorations for our Cultural Arts Night. She also assembled personalized goody bags for our performers to make them feel as appreciated as possible. As well, she created craft ideas for the children at our annual Christmas party. Thank you, Shenyun!

Jimmy Le

Jimmy helped organize a fun crafts night to create decorations for the Christmas party. Not only that, but he also worked as part of a big team to serve food during our Cultural Arts Night. This kind of dedication to teamwork and inclusion is exactly what we’re about! Needless to say, Jimmy has been a valuable part of MCYC.
